In Eyes - The Next Chapter.

As most of you may know, I have been the vocalist of a band called Here's to Neverland for the past two years. Those years hold some of the most amazing, unforgettable experiences I could've ever dreamed, and I am so thankful every day that I have been so lucky to have those dreams become a reality.

But, as life goes on, all good things must come to an end, and such has happened to Here's to Neverland.

Now, I could sit here and be soppy and say that I miss everyone terribly, and I'd take it all back if I could, and I don't know how to play music without them and yadda yadda blah blah blah, but I won't.

The truth is, since I can remember, I've dreamed of becoming a singer. However, unlike most children with the same dream, I never wanted to be a solo artist. Now that I've toured to some of the biggest and smallest cities in Australia with 5 of my best friends in the whole world, I can't imagine doing it all over by myself.

So, although I do miss the guys and all the fun we had over the past 2 years, I can't let my dream and my current position within that dream to go to waste.

That's where In Eyes comes in.

Matticus, my bass player from HTN and best mate of 2 years, and I decided to continue our music as best we could. We decided to change the band's name from HTN to In Eyes, and take on a style that we were both more passionate about than pop - because let's face it, pop?

So begins the search for new members, which although the hype of the band after the announcement skyrocketed and boosted our page up by near 100 likes, has been proving to be a bit slow. However, we cannot expect things to happen overnight, which is one of the many lessons I've learned after being in a semi-successful band over the past two years.

I'm super excited for what is to come with In Eyes, and wish the others the best in their endeavours. Hopefully one day, we'll see each other at the top.

That's all for this one kiddies,

Love love,

Rosie xx.

New Year, New Me!

Hey guys!

I am currently sitting in my bedroom with two fans going and my window open, and it is still too hot to sleep so I figured why not write my first blog post of 2015!

I don't even know where to begin.
I suppose the best place to start would be with an apology for not posting much last year.
I'm going to try really hard to get some good content up through ALL my categories this year, so look forward to that - I sure am.

This year, I've set a few goals for myself.
I don't consider these resolutions because it's the 10th of January and I haven't broken them yet.
Some are smaller than others, and more personal, and there's some big ones which are more likely to be achieved next year or the year after - but I can make a start on them now.

The first thing I really wanted to improve on this year is my YouTube channel:
YouTube has become such a big part of my life and I honestly love creating content for you guys to watch. If you haven't seen my channel, click the YouTube link at the top of the blog and you will get redirected.
I won't babble on about my goals for YT, as I made a whole video about it, so if you would like to know the future of my YT channel, head over there and check it out! :)

The second thing I wanted to improve this year, is my appearance:
Now, don't get me wrong - I'm very happy with my body and I love being myself and I'm very comfortable in my own skin, but, as I'm sure everyone has, I just want to improve the little things which will make me look happier and feel better.

My three main goals are to fix my teeth (by whitening and going to the dentist more often), my nails (I've been a chronic nail biter since I had teeth), and my hair (it's very thin and frail and I can't do much with it!)

I've already made some changes that are working for me, so I can't wait to see the difference next month, next season and even next year.

As for my bigger, long-term goals, there are only two:

The first is to become financially stable enough to move into an apartment with my boyfriend.
He needs to do this too, because I'm not paying his share! ;D

The second is to travel!
Whether that be to Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, Japan or New York City - I just want to see more of the world.

The five places listed are definitely bucket list worthy for me so I wanna kick em all now!

I am feeling very positive about this coming year and I'm ready to take it each day as it comes :)

If you have any goals you'd like to share, leave them in the comments below and I'll read them all!

That's it for me today!

Love Love,

Rosie xx.
